Common questions

The timer finished while my phone was locked. Did it count?
Yes. The timer is based on wall-clock time, not on the app staying awake. When you come back, it has already caught up and moved to the next phase.

I'm not getting notifications when a session ends.
Open Settings › Notifications › Pomodoro and make sure Allow Notifications is on. The app asks for permission the first time you start a session; if you declined, this is the only way to turn it back on.

Can I change how long a focus session runs?
Yes. In Settings you can set focus length anywhere from 5 to 120 minutes, set your own short and long break lengths, and choose how many focus sessions run before a long break.

My iPhone and Apple Watch disagree about the timer.
The two stay in sync whenever they can reach each other. If they've drifted apart, open the app on both with the watch nearby and they will settle on the same state. If it keeps happening, please email me with what each device was showing.

Where did my completed tasks go?
Completed tasks move to the Archive at the end of the day, grouped by date.

Is there a way to back up or sync my tasks to another iPhone?
No. Everything is stored on your device only, which is also why none of it is visible to me. There is no export at the moment.
